Professor Fiona Watt will be the Director of a new 'Hub' to address important challenges in translational regenerative medicine.

The Hub forms part of a £2.3 million investment by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and the Medical Research Council (MRC).

It will draw together leading stem cell and transplant scientists from across the UK, with partners from King's College London, Imperial College London and the Universities of Oxford, Birmingham and Newcastle.
